Review: Fearless by Lauren Roberts
Quick Info:
Book Type: Chapter Book
Target Age: 12-18
Recommended Age: 14-16+
Plot: The third book to the Powerless series
Review
A lot of twists hit you in this book and the four perspectives was interesting. I was a bit suspicious on how everything kept lining up for the main characters! Things get a bit steamier with the main couple but it is all closed door.
Opinion
Depending on the child I would recommend this book for teens 14-16+, be sure to check out the rest of the books, Powerless and Fearless, before making your decision.
Content:
Some cursing
Characters drink alcohol and get slightly drunk
Kissing/French Kissing (describes it but hands stay on neck and waist)
Characters undress one another but the book cuts to black (alluding to something more)
A character calls themself a “king of gods”
A main character says they don’t believe in God
Describes an afterlife
Heavy flirtation, relatively clean but there is some touching (neck, hips, hands, cuddling)
A female side character is in a relationship with a girl but they only describe them holding hands
